SINGLE AND MULTI-ZONE SYSTEMS
No Ducts? No problem.
Solutions for every home and every room.
Daikin single- and multi-zone systems are a great solution to replace traditional heating and cooling systems in primary living spaces, provide supplemental heating and cooling, or add conditioned air to nearly anywhere you need it.
Daikin ductless mini-split systems offer quiet, energy-efficient heating and cooling without the need for ductwork. They consist of one or more indoor units (wall-mounted, floor-mounted, ceiling, or concealed) connected via refrigerant lines to an outdoor compressor/condenser.
Because they avoid ductwork energy losses and offer zoning flexibility, they’re ideal for new additions, retrofits, hot or cold spots, room-by-room upgrades, or homes without existing duct systems.

How it works?
A Daikin mini-split indoor unit is installed in the room requiring heating and cooling and is directly connected to a nearby, single outdoor unit.
With its adaptive inverter technology, a Daikin ductless system helps your space’s temperature stay comfortable and consistent. This ductless air conditioner and heat pump can be controlled by your wireless remote or smartphone app, or one of the Daikin ONE+, Daikin ONE Touch, or Daikin ONE Lite thermostats (depending on the mini-split model). Since there are no ducts, professional installation is often completed in just one day.
Single Zone vs. Multi-Zone: What’s the Difference?
Single Zone Mini-Split
Re-imagine what comfort looks like – anywhere in your home.
· A single indoor unit is paired with a single outdoor condensing unit.
· Ideal for conditioning a single room, zone, or addition (ex: a bonus room, garage, workshop, sunroom).
· Single-zone models are available in wall-mounted, floor-mounted, and ceiling-mounted configurations for professional installation.
· Daikin’s integrated inverter (variable-speed) compressor helps minimize temperature fluctuations and is designed to provide continuous cooling and heating comfort.
· Various BTU capacity options are available for the specific room’s heating/cooling load.

Multi-Zone Multi-Split
Stay comfortable at the touch of a button.
· Designed for multiple areas to have independent temperature regulation in each room or "zone."
· The single outdoor unit can connect to multiple zone-based indoor units, which can be wall-, ceiling-, floor-mounted, or even concealed in the ceiling, providing over 1,000 possible combinations.
· These systems utilize slim refrigerant lines that connect the outdoor compressor to individual indoor units.
· Multi-zone outdoor units are compact, efficient, and straightforward for a professional to install.
· Various BTU capacity options are available for the zone’s heating/cooling load.

What's the difference between single and multi-zone?
Multi-zone systems allow you to run multiple indoor units to a single outdoor unit, and enable you to have localized, indoor temperature control in each “zone” (room) where they are mounted. This allows multiple people to have individualized comfort throughout the home, and potentially help you save energy and utility costs by providing on-demand comfort in the rooms you’re enjoying.
