Warranty Information

LIMITED WARRANTY

1. The following is a list of states and provinces that do not allow limited warranty coverage on your Daikin heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system or a component of that system to be conditioned on registration:
   1. California (Effective for units installed on or after January 1, 2004);
   2. Florida (Effective for units installed on or after July 1, 2024)
   3. Georgia (Effective for units installed on or after January 1, 2026); and
   4. Quebec (Effective for units installed on or after April 30, 1980).
2. The following is a list of states that require limited warranty coverage in effect on your Daikin HVAC system or a component of that system to be transferred if the property containing that unit is conveyed to a new owner:
   1. Florida (Effective for units installed on or after July 1, 2023);
   2. Georgia (Effective for units installed on or after January 1, 2026); and
   3. Texas (Effective for units installed on or after September 1, 2021).

NON-OWNER OCCUPIED RESIDENCE WARRANTY

1. For units installed at residential real property, the following is a list of states that do not allow warranty coverage on your Daikin heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system or a component of that system to be conditioned on registration:
   1. Florida (Effective for units installed on or after July 1, 2024); and
   2. Georgia (Effective for units installed on or after January 1, 2026).
2. For units installed at residential real property, the following is a list of states that require warranty coverage in effect on your Daikin HVAC system or a component of that system to be transferred if the property containing that unit is conveyed to a new owner:
   1. Florida (Effective for units installed on or after July 1, 2023)
   2. Georgia (Effective for units installed on or after January 1, 2026); and
   3. Texas (Effective for units installed on or after September 1, 2021).
